100 Fires Project

A number of OM&F colleagues have been contributors to the "100 Fires Project." This project identifies a list of 100 fires from 1825 to present day that tell the history of wildfire in this country and describe the evolution of the wildland fire service.  The anniversary dates for each of the 100 fires are recognized in the US Hotshots Association 2024 Calendar.  Additionally, a chronological timeline of the 100 fires will be displayed on the WIldland Firefighter Foundation website:  https://wffoundation.org/100fires
